Crystal Healing
If you are using a quartz crystal for healing, you will
be directing its energies from the hand in which you are holding it
onto the recipient's body and aura. If you are using a double
terminate quartz crystal, you may use either end to direct these
energies. Your crystal will activate and amplify its life force
energies and will transmit these energies to whomever you are using
them on.
According to Dr. Richard Gerber, “With a properly cut
crystal, however, a healer can, like a surgeon cutting away a tumor,
release negative patterns in the energy body, allowing the physical
body to return to a state of wholeness.”

Chakra Clearing
You can use your quartz crystal to cleanse, open, activate, and align all seven chakras,
and while many people will use a specific gemstone for each chakra,
you can use your quartz crystal to do the same. Quartz crystal is
commonly associated with the crown chakra, so even if you decide to use
various gemstones for each chakra, you may still be using your quartz
crystal on your crown chakra.
You may also want to try placing a double terminated
quartz crystal in between any 2 given chakras to help clear any
imbalances. When doing this, be sure to have the points pointing from
one chakra to the other.
